[Drivers]Check whether a Driver is WHQL Signed

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out, which already installed printer driver has a valid WHQL signature. Given the numbers of drivers involved (thousands distributed across multiple servers, probably plenty duplicates), looking up each of them online individually is not practical. This calls for a scripting solution which happens to usually be my forte.

Now, WMI has plenty of useful information for me, but not the WHQL signature state as far as I can tell. The .cat files with the Signatures usually ought to be mapped to the driver by use of .inf file entries ... only none of the printer drivers appears to have those. Comparing certificate thumbprints with file-hashes was not successful either, even for known matches of certified drivers.

Sooo ... I'm pretty much at the end of my ideas. Anybody of you know where I can get that information or how I can reliably match .cat to driver?

Cheers and thanks,
Fred

Ps.: The Print Servers are Windows Server 2008 R2
