When using a Dymo label printer with print server shared out on a Server 2008 print server, the label software is able to detect the printer, but not on Server 2012 R2. I presume this is due to the architectural differences on the 2012 platform and how
it's using Enhanced Point and Print. I could see how this is happening if the native Dymo driver is not being installed locally on the machine, but even when installing the driver manually and making sure it is set, the software will still not detect it. Is
there a way to force a specific printer/driver on 2012 to behave in the legacy manner even though 2012 doesn't do driver distribution? This is not a supported configuration from Dymo's perspective, so no help there.
