Hello,
Our Windows 2012 R2 print server is experiencing high network utilisation to/from the spoolsv.exe service. The traffic is to/from computers at our remote office (not the local ones) who have our main printer connected via UNC path e.g. \\192.168.0.7\Printer. This is the only printer being shared on this server.
The traffic per client is often 2.5 Mbps bi-directional (see screenshot below).
Local office: 192.168.0.0/24 Remote office: 192.168.6.0/24
Is anyone able to shed any light as to why this is occurring? I am also unable to turn off bi-directional printing.
