Print Management - Print Jobs staying in queue/spooler AFTER successfully printing

I am the print server admin with my company and over the past few weeks, I have noticed that sometimes, printers will continue to "pile up" print jobs, even after they have been successfully printed out. After speaking with end users, they have assured me that the printers are working fine.

Only on my server "Print Management" window do I see this. Is there a patch or hotfix I am missing? We tried running a windows update and it broke the server so I rolled back the update. I would prefer to find a particular KB for this to see if a patch or hotfix will resolve it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
