My print server is Windows 2008R2 and the printer in question is an HP 4730mpf. Users that have 32 bit machines (Windows 7 Enterprise) are unable to connect to this printer. It recognizes the printer and goes through the "Downloading
drivers" screen. It stays on that screen for a while and times out with the error "Cannot connect to printer". This only happens with 32 bit machines. 64 bit computers have no issues connecting at all. I made sure that the 32 bit drivers were
installed. I have uninstalled and re-installed the drivers. I have tried using different driver versions PCL5 and PCL6 . I have tried both the universal and printer specific drivers as well as removing and re-adding the printer itself. Any more suggestions!?
