windows server roles

Hi All

I was wondering if the following is possible, so we have two domain controllers which have various roles but last week something happened with domain controller one which had the service of deploying network printers and print management so none of the users could print as they weren't getting the printers appearing same with mapped drives

Is it possible to copy the printer and document service to domain controller two so if this happens again in future printing could continue on the second domain controller, so what I am trying to say is to replicate roles to the second domain controller so if one goes down services can be resumed?
