Xerox printer drivers becoming courrpted

Hello,

I am having an issue with driver corruption on Xerox printers which are occurring at a completely unacceptable rate.  Xerox claims they have no knowledge of this issue, but from the Internet searches I've done there are quite a few people reporting driver corruptions, so how they can claim they know nothing about this issue is beyond me.  Deleting the printer from the clients machine, restarting the print spooler, removing the driver, then reinstalling appears to fix the issue.

The issue is that clients suddenly cannot see all the tabs required to modify printer preferences, here is a corrupted client (on the left) and a working client (one the right).

Our users are demanding a root cause for this problem, simply fixing the issue each time it occurs is not an acceptable answer. 

I notice that these drivers share a large number of files, is it possible that a shared file is being corrupted or overwritten by another process??
